For the health and well-being of all Korean people, the SNU College of Nursing stands at the forefront of professionalization and information digitalization of the nursing discipline, devoting the utmost effort to the realization of an internationally acceptable level of education, research, and community service as collegiate functions. The College of Nursing not only oversees the education of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs, which offer nursing as a major, but also has a central role in the study of nursing within and outside of Korea. In addition, the College of Nursing is responsible for the education and training of nursing scholars and clinical nurses working in various domestic fields.
In addition, the SNU College of Nursing is considered the best university in Korea and 49th in the world in the field of nursing according to the 2023 QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) World University Rankings by Field, as announced by QS, a global university evaluation institution in the UK. In the 2021 World University Rankings by Field, it ranked first in the field of nursing in Korea and 38th in the world. The SNU College of Nursing has a leading role in domestic and international nursing studies by ranking in the top 35th in the world according to an international evaluation conducted by the University in 2009.

Where nursing science thrives through global collaboration and scholarly exchange
The Research Institute of Nursing Science (RINS) is dedicated to supporting and advancing nursing science through academic collaboration, scholarly exchange, and capacity-building. RINS provides infrastructure, educational opportunities, and collaborative platforms to facilitate high-quality research by faculty and graduate students. The institute also aims to enhance public health by supporting research on healthcare policies, management systems, and the development of nursing information systems.
RINS organizes a wide range of scholarly activities, including conferences and seminars featuring nationally and internationally renowned scholars, and supports the academic endeavors of both faculty and graduate students. To foster global networks, the institute regularly hosts symposiums in collaboration with graduate students and faculty from diverse international institutions.
RINS operates through three specialized centers:

: Supports the development and evaluation of multidisciplinary nursing interventions.▶ Internationalization and Industry-University Collaboration Center
